Collaboration

Rosa enjoys working with others to see their ideas come to life, and has been in many different projects over the years where she has offered her artistic skills and expertise.

Projects

  • Dalfarras Wines

In 1990, Rosa and her husband Alister Purbrick embarked together on a project to release a new wine into the market, Dalfarras.

Dalfarras is named after Rosa’s maiden name, Dal Farra, and represents a celebration of character, expression and individuality.

The wines can be purchased through Tahbilk Wine Club and be enjoyed at various restuarants locally and abroad.

  • Buckley Park Mural

In 2012, Rosa was appointed the lead artist to design with the Nagambie community, and then create a 18 × 2m long mural in Buckley Park, Nagambie.

The engagement involved working with school children from the local area as well as local residents. The mural can be enjoyed now by all visitors to the park which can be seen from Hight St across the lake.

A colourful mural which represents the colour and joy of nature in the local landscape.

  • Pinch Pots for Tahbilk Cafe

Rosa’s talents also extend to pottery making, and in 2012 she was commissioned to create a suite of pinch pots for the Tahbilk Cafe to use for olives, dips and salts.

Rosa has a kiln located at Tahbilk wines and fires all her pottery onsite.
